Hoe Down

Saturday, August 17 and Sunday August 18, 2024
Farm Sanctuary, 3136 Aikens Road, Watkins Glen, NY 14891

After four years, we are finally back in person with Farm Sanctuary’s beloved annual event: The Hoe Down! This annual event is well-loved for its inspiring speakers, time spent at Sanctuary, experiences of community and connection with fellow guests and farm animals, and, of course, delicious vegan food!

Join us for this year’s event on August 17th and 18th as we gather together to celebrate the powerful ways that we can grow and care for our communities, and honor and experience our cultures and traditions through the joy of vegan food. This two-day community event will include conversations and discussion panels with food justice, animal protection, and plant-based and vegan movement leaders. Attendees are welcome to camp on the beautiful Sanctuary grounds surrounded by rolling hills and preserved forests, which overlook the animal residents as they spend their days roaming the spacious barns and pastures of the Sanctuary.

All humans welcome! Stay tuned for more details.
