The results of the 2007 Walk for Farm Animals are in, and we are thrilled to announce that this has been yet another record-breaking year! More than 2,000 people took part in Walks held in 46 cities across the U.S. and Canada, raising over $170,000 for farm animals! We are extremely grateful to everyone who participated: the walkers, who took to the streets to educate their communities; the donors, who generously supported this important cause; the businesses that kindly donated their products and services; and, of course, our tireless Walk coordinators, who made the event possible. All of these efforts have brought much needed attention to the plight of farm animals and raised critical funds for Farm Sanctuary’s rescue, education and advocacy work. Special thanks to the amazingly-talented Berkeley Breathed for designing the 2007 Walk for Farm Animals t-shirt. Each year, the Walk for Farm Animals grows and makes a bigger impact thanks to your support. Together, we are making the world a better place for farm animals.
