There are two ways you can participate with a Walk Team:
- Walk with a team. As a group walker, your team’s fundraising goal will be set by your Team Leader. Teams can be made up of friends, neighbors, classmates, co-workers, or any other group! Teams benefit from shared camaraderie, and each member is often able to raise more money than they would have as an individual through teammate encouragement and friendly rivalry. A personal fundraising page will be created on your behalf when you register. Please note that only the funds you raise as an individual will count towards your personal fundraising goal and eligibility to earn individual Walk prizes. Start a Walk Team today!
- Walk with your family. Family teams also earn more than their individual counterparts. Like other teams, family teams will have a team leader who sets the overall fundraising goal. An extra benefit of creating a family team is that kids younger than 17 register for free! We do ask that all Walk attendees register, no matter their age. Please note that only the funds you raise as an individual will count toward your personal fundraising goal and eligibility to earn individual Walk prizes. A great team needs a great captain. As a Team Leader, you are responsible for recruiting team members and inspiring them to raise money for farm animals. Learn more!
Walk Teams will compete for a grand prize! The team that raises the most money at each event will receive a “Compassion for All!” aluminum water bottle and Walk t-shirt for each member of the team who raises at least $100. Start a Walk Team today!
